Obituary


Robert “Bob” J. Nealon, Sr., 85 of Ocean Pines and formerly of Scranton, PA passed away peacefully Friday, November 25, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Scranton he was the son of the late James and Mary Nealon.



Bob was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. He graduated in 1958 from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s degree. Working for the Department of Commerce, Bob and his wife lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for many years....

Bob was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. He graduated in 1958 from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s degree. Working for the Department of Commerce, Bob and his wife lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for many years. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Berlin, very active in the Lions Club, and loved to play golf.



He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha “Jeanne” Nealon; four children, Nancye Nealon of Annapolis, Robert “Rob” J. Nealon, II of Centreville, James J. Nealon of Salisbury, and Thomas P. Nealon of Boston; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother, Marty Nealon.



A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthews Cathedral in Washington, DC and Inurnment in Arlington National Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
